Do you stock half sizes and wide fits?

Core styles are carried in half sizes and in a wide fit; occasion styles are usually whole sizes only. If the size you need is not on the shelf we can often order it in within a week.

Can you match shoes to my outfit?

Yes. Bring the outfit or send us a photo and we will pull heels or dress shoes in the right tone — gold, champagne, ivory, chocolate or black — so the whole look is resolved in one visit.

Can I return shoes if they do not fit?

Unworn pairs tried on indoors on a carpet, with the box and tags, can be returned or exchanged within 14 days. Online orders include a free return label for sizing.

How should I care for satin and leather shoes?

Protect satin with a fabric spray before first wear and store it away from anything that could snag. Leather should be polished, given a day off between wears, and kept on shoe trees so the upper holds its shape.

About this collection

Fitted, not just sized

Shoes are the last thing chosen and the first thing that spoils an evening, so we stock ours for comfort as much as for how they finish an outfit. Occasion heels come with cushioned insoles and a stable heel; men's dress shoes are leather-lined and, where the price allows, welted so they can be resoled.

We carry women's UK 3 to 9 and men's UK 6 to 13, with half sizes and wide fits on core styles, and we fit every pair in store before it leaves.

Feet change through the day, so we fit in the afternoon where we can, check the width as well as the length, and add heel grips or insoles at no charge when a pair needs it. We would rather you leave with the right size than the right box.
