Where we say leather, it is leather, and the listing tells you which — full-grain, top-grain or suede — along with the lining and hardware. Anything made from a synthetic material is described as such.

Can I have a bag monogrammed?

Selected leather goods can be heat-embossed with up to three initials in store, usually while you wait. Monogrammed pieces are made to order and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Do you stock clutches to match occasion wear?

Yes. Evening clutches are chosen against the gowns, lace sets and African wear on our rail, so there is usually a match in gold, champagne, ivory or chocolate. Bring or describe the outfit and we will pull the options.

How should I store a leather bag?

Empty it, stuff it lightly with tissue to hold its shape, and keep it in its dust bag away from direct sunlight and radiators. Condition full-grain leather once or twice a year with the balm we supply.

What it is made of, printed on the page

A bag is picked up more often than any garment, so we judge it the way we judge a watch: by what it is made of and how it is put together. Leathers are full-grain or top-grain, hardware is solid rather than plated onto zinc, and linings are stitched in rather than glued.

The edit runs from everyday totes and cross-body bags to evening clutches that finish an occasion outfit, with belts, purses, card holders and travel pieces alongside.

Every listing states the leather type, the lining, the hardware finish and the dimensions, so you know what you are paying for before it arrives. We do not describe polyurethane as leather, and we say when a piece is vegan by design rather than by omission.
