About this collection
Transparent gold
Gold is bought for two reasons — to be worn, and to hold value — and our counter is arranged to serve both. Every gold piece we sell is solid gold (never plated or filled), is hallmarked by a UK assay office where the law requires it, and is listed with its carat and weight in grams so you can compare fairly.
The range runs from fine everyday chains to substantial rope, Byzantine and curb designs, with rings, bangles and earrings chosen to layer with them.
Under the UK Hallmarking Act, gold items over one gram must carry an independent assay office hallmark confirming their fineness. We go further: we photograph the hallmark, publish the weight and offer to weigh any piece in front of you. Buying gold should feel as clear as reading a receipt.

Every eligible piece carries a UK assay office hallmark; we show it to you under magnification and note it on your receipt.

The gram weight is confirmed on our calibrated scale in front of you, and recorded on your invoice.
